I am thankful that COA has intentionally cultivated such a community and strength to deliver the best education so that these kiddos are free to be themselves! Thank you, COA, for pouring [your hearts] into the future generations. We will be returning!

Strider the fox

I have had some of the best teachers who take the time to show interest in their students. The teachers always keep you informed and make sure you are doing the best you can. The website is very easy to maneuver through and the schedule was great for a first-time online student. Thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of the K12 family.

Going virtual was an easy call for me. After my son was being bullied at his brick-and-mortar school, [we got tired of] arguing and fighting with the school about those kids not being held accountable. When my son said he was afraid to go to school, I knew it was time for a change. Virtual education was the one solution that I could think of to protect him.

Since all of my kids have started at COA, it has been a blessing. They have thrived since day one. I was scared at first because it was something new, but now there’s no looking back. Being able to provide my students with a safe environment to learn brings us so much peace.

With all that said, trying to manage four kids at home definitely has its struggles and challenges. But being able to physically see what they are doing, what they are working on, and being able to provide help makes me an effective Learning Coach.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with the COA staff. They are great to work with and really try to answer your questions to the best of their ability. I just hope my story and experience will help other Learning Coaches or even help other parents who are struggling with multiple kids in a virtual school setting. My advice is to just keep pushing through because it will get easier.
