A Night to Remember: COA Celebrates Its First Junior/Senior Prom

For Carolus Online Academy, this year marked a milestone we will never forget, our very first Junior/Senior Prom! Students, families, and staff gathered together for an evening filled with excitement, laughter, and memories as we celebrated our inaugural event with the theme “Traveling Through the Decades.” 

From neon colors and cassette tapes to throwback styles and music, students embraced the theme and truly brought each decade to life. The evening showcased the creativity and personality of our Phoenix students as they arrived dressed to impress, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere from the moment they walked through the doors. 

Prom has always been more than just music and decorations, it is an opportunity for students to connect, celebrate friendships, and experience a memorable milestone in their high school journey. As an online school, moments like these are especially meaningful because they allow students who may connect virtually throughout the year to come together and create lasting memories in person. 

Throughout the evening, students enjoyed music, games, photos, dancing, and plenty of laughter. Watching students interact, celebrate together, and simply enjoy being present in the moment reminded us why creating opportunities for connection and community matters so much at COA. 

As our first prom came to a close, one thing became very clear, this is only the beginning. 

This year’s event has already sparked excitement and ideas for the future. We are looking forward to growing this tradition and making next year’s prom even bigger and more memorable. Our vision is to continue creating exciting experiences that students look forward to each year while building stronger traditions and meaningful moments that become part of the COA story. 

To all of our students who attended, thank you for making our first Junior/Senior Prom so special. You helped create memories and traditions that future Phoenixes will look forward to for years to come.
