Carolus Online Academy Represents at Capitol Day 2025

On Wednesday, April 30th, students, families, and staff from Carolus Online Academy proudly participated in Capitol Day in Columbia, SC—a day dedicated to celebrating school choice and connecting with lawmakers who support educational opportunities for all families.

Our COA community gathered alongside other public charter schools from across the state to show support for school options and to thank legislators who continue to advocate for our students. It was an energizing event filled with school spirit, meaningful conversations, and a shared commitment to empowering parents in their children’s education.

A highlight of the day was witnessing Senator Tom Davis and Representative Shannon Erickson (District 124) receive the Lifetime Golden Apple Award for their continued dedication to school choice in the Palmetto State. Their leadership and advocacy inspire us all, and we were honored to be there to show our support.
